Parquet is a triangular crochet scarf, with a textured wooden pattern that’s created using post stitches. It’s an intermediate-level pattern worked in sections, with each section worked perpendicular to the last.
A unique and visually striking accessory for men and women.
Finished scarf measures about 45” wide and 21” deep. It uses just one skein of Madelinetosh Prairie yarn, but you can use any lace or fingering weight yarn you like. I’d recommend sticking to a solid or semi-solid color for this one, because of the intricacy of the design. It includes post stitches and back-loop stitches to provide texture, so some of the detail that makes this design unique would be lost in a multi-colored yarn.
