I’m thrilled to share the crochet pattern for this triangle wool scarf with you! This was a very satisfying accessory to design, because it turned out just as I envisioned it would.

Requiring only one skein of fingering weight yarn, this scarf makes a great small project. You can also crochet a full-sized shawl in this design. There are two options included in the pattern for enlarging your project to make a shawl instead of the scarf/shawlette size.

The samples pictured above were made with Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light.

Please note that you’ll need more yarn if you’re re-sizing your project. I used this pattern, including the second option for enlarging, to make the lace-weight shawl shown below. It took just one skein of Madelinetosh Prairie to complete, and is so airy and elegant.
